We are a fully licensed, fully insured, full-service public accounting firm registered with the South Carolina State Board of Accountancy. We maintain an active membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Based out of beautiful Charleston, SC, grassrootsCPA is owned and operated by Mike Clemmens, CPA.

Mike holds a B.S. with accounting departmental honors from Clemson University's Calhoun Honors College. After working for a Top 20 National CPA firm, he opened the doors to grassrootsCPA in February 2010. Mike is an avid golfer, a musician at heart, and a member of the Mount Pleasant chapter of Kiwanis International.
